An AI image generator develops images of what actor Danny DeVito would look like as a villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is filled with a number of different villagers who can settle on player islands. There are dozens of possibilities when the cute, anthropomorphic animals appear on the plots of land players own and place their homes on. Animal Crossing: New Horizons will never give players the same island twice, making each playthrough unique.
Although there are so many villagers already available, players still like to create their own. those who play Animal Crossing: New Horizons created a number of quirky villagers, often creating new animal residents who could easily fit into the game. Players also draw inspiration from the exterior of the life simulator and come up with characters that are both impressive and humorous.
A Redditor by the name of CarnivalChrish posted a screenshot of an AI image generator that produced images of what actor Danny DeVito would look like as one of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons villager. The results are both hilarious and disturbing, with the caption on the post reading, “I want him to live on my island.” The AI image generator has created what could lead to some fun villagers, despite how weird some of them are.
Redditors are having fun with the images of Danny DeVito’s villagers. One said they hoped he would move to the island with a house containing trash cans and an egg, while CarnivalCrish added they wanted his slogan to be ‘Rum ham’, a nod of eye to Philadelphia is always sunny. Another user wants to see the villager settle down with a new type of trade at Animal Crossing: New Horizons and whisper to the player that he is growing special plants for a friend. However, not everyone is a fan, as one commenter mentioned that they found the results of the AI image generator ugly and didn’t want him on their island.
CarnivalChrish isn’t the only one having fun creating villagers from outside sources. A Redditor known as StrawberryInu offered a Animal Crossing: New Horizons character inspired by Khonshu from the Moon Knight series. In the artist’s rendition, Khonshu takes the form of an ostrich villager, retaining the skeletal head he sports in the show. The character has black feathers on his lower body and bandages covering most of his body, as well as the staff he uses in Moon Knight. The village version of StrawberryInu on Khonshu is perfect and could easily fit into the game.
