BLUETTI presents the world’s first sodium-ion solar generator

Climate change has recently been in the news as the world moves towards carbon neutrality, prompting a shift from conventional energy systems to renewable systems, such as chemical batteries and battery-powered machines. Lithium-ion batteries have taken the world by storm and have been used in almost all consumer electronics, cars, and even aviation since their introduction by Sony Corporation in 1991.

Unfortunately, lithium supply chains and manufacturers face high demands from large companies, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to meet the ever-increasing high demand. Sodium and lithium are metals close to the same group on the periodic table, and they have very similar chemical properties, and there is over a thousand times more sodium than mineable lithium material in the earth’s crust. Sodium-ion batteries therefore seem to be a better and more optimal alternative.

BLUETTI Power Inc. is based in Las Vegas and is the world’s leading manufacturer of solar power installations, including solar generators, photovoltaic panels and accessories. BLUETTI’s residential power plants such as AC200P, EP500 and AC300 have stood out in the market with their innovative Sodium-Ion battery technology and over time have become one of the products the most reliable in the business.

The world’s first sodium-ion solar power plants

There are deals on solar generators, power plants and more!

BLUETTI recently announced the world’s first sodium ion solar generator – the NA300, and the new compatible battery pack, the B480. The new generator and battery are similar to their predecessors, the EP500 Pro, and they have four 20A outlets and one 30A L14-30 output port driven by the built-in 3000W pure sine wave inverter.

The NA300 takes the EP500 Pro’s amazing 2400W solar input to 3000W, and you can even call it the fastest charging solar generator, as it can be charged from 0-80% in only 30 minutes by the Swift AC + PV 6000 W. double charge.

However, the new NA300 offers a capacity of 3000Wh, which is lower than the 5100Wh of the same-sized EP500 Pro due to technical limitations. While that might not be good news, the NA300 supports up to two B480 battery modules (4800 Wh each) for a total capacity of 12,600 Wh, and the unit itself can provide permanently enough energy for a family for several days or even a week. in the event of network failures or natural disasters. In addition, the NA300 also offers a 240V, 6000W connection with a Fusion Box and another NA300, IoT. As a bonus, the NA300 can also be controlled remotely by a dedicated iOS and Android app.

The first generation Sodium-Ion battery rivals LiFeP04 battery cells, which are widely used in other BLUETTI products. BLUETTI Sodium-Ion batteries can be charged in less than 30 minutes from 0 to 80% at room temperature. That’s not all, the new battery can also operate at low temperatures of -4F ° (-20 ° C). The new Sodium-Ion pack of the NA300 and B480 has a capacity retention rate of over 85%. They offer over 80% better efficiency, making them perfect for powering applications in winter and at extremely low temperatures.
