Diablo Immortal: How To Unlock Crossplay | Link your mobile and PC accounts

Diablo Immortal is now available on iOS and Android, giving gamers a way to enjoy Diablo score hack-and-slash action in small doses on your smart device. While playing games on the phone is fun for some of us, others will want more precision in their gameplay – why not play it both ways? By linking your Battle.net account, you can easily switch from mobile to PC play. There are no limits and no borders. And you you don’t even need a Battle.net account to play Diablo Immortal on iOS or Android. On PC? You are going to need it.

Once your account is linked, you can easily switch devices and continue where you left off. Linking accounts can be done after creating a new character at any time. The process is relatively simple, and if you have a Battle.net account that you use on both devices without a link, you’ll receive a friendly reminder to link the account. If you don’t, your progress will not transfer. It really makes casual gaming really easy – and when you want to get really hardcore, you can hop on the computer, whip out a controller, or go at it with the keyboard and mouse for maximum customization.

How to link your Battle.net account

To keep your character progress, you will need to link your Battle.net account. This can be done through the mobile app. After download Diablo Immortal on iOS / Android, you will be able to start playing immediately even if you you don’t have a Battle.net account. A guest account will be generated automatically.

  • Log in to your Battle.net account on the Diablo Immortal title screen. This option will be available after creating your first character.
  • After creating a character, go to the Settings menus -> Account tab -> Select “Link a Battle.net account
  • Both methods can be used at any time after character creation.

Then launch Battle.net on PC and download Diablo Immortal. Your save file information will be preserved and you can play exactly where you left off. Switch back to mobile after logging out to continue playing on your smart device.

And that’s all! A relatively painless experience. You will need to log back into Battle.net regularly to keep your information current. If you’d rather not sign up for Battle.net, you’re free to ignore the prompt. Surprisingly helpful from the folks at Activision-Blizzard.
