Twitter Blue Ledger / Trezor crypto wallet linking issue for NFT profile picture

Twitter Blue is the first subscription service of the popular microblogging social network. It provides a set of new features that aim to improve or enhance the user experience.

As an example of the above, the subscription includes the function to “undo” tweets before posting them. However, as we recently explained here, how it works and the fact that it is a paid option did not convince everyone.

Another of the features brought by the service is for those who love cryptos and NFTs. Twitter Blue lets you link the wallet where your NFTs are stored to use as your special profile picture.

That said, many Twitter Blue users report that they cannot link their Ledger or Trezor crypto wallet. So they can’t set their NFTs as their profile picture (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, ten).

Twitter Blue Ledger or Trezor wallet linking issue

According to multiple reports, many users find it difficult to set their NFTs as their profile picture because they cannot connect their Ledger or Trezor crypto wallet to Twitter Blue (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

Compatibility: Ledger and Trezor declare on the problem

It should be noted that the reports reached the ears of the Ledger and Trezor teams. In the case of Trezor, the problem is that their current products are not compatible with the Twitter Blue NFT link feature.

On the other hand, Trezor confirms that their wallets should be compatible. So, in this case, account linking issues become more annoying.

Workarounds for both wallets (Ledger and Trezor)

That said, if you are suffering from the Twitter Blue linking issue on the Ledger or Trezor crypto wallet, there are some workarounds that would help fix it.

First, in the case of Trezor crypto wallets, you can try the following:

Select MetaMask in the Twitter app. It will switch to the MetaMask browser. Don’t sign, copy the URL instead. Send to desktop and paste into browser. Sign with Trezor. After signing, it launches another tab. Copy the new URL into MetaMask mobile.

“The page that does not exist” – this is the URL to copy and paste into MetaMask mobile, where you left off. I had to try the process 4 or 5 times before it worked, but that’s how I did.

On the other hand, if your crypto wallet is a ledger, there are a few workarounds you can try. The first is to do the following:

Twitter only recognized my new Blue subscription on my phone and not on my computer. Hope this helps.. but Twitter has made this tricky.

Finally, if the above does not work, you can try the following process:
